The June Nutrition Program theme was “Breakfast at Mondays” and we focused on ways to consume quality nutrients during cancer treatment.

We discussed the importance of protein, good sources of protein and creative and yummy ways to increase our protein. We also talked about probiotics and gut health and sampled foods like Kefir and Farmer Cheese thanks to an amazing donation from Lifeway Kefir. Things got really fun when we made and ate mini waffles! And, the icing on the cake was each client got to take home a mini waffle maker thanks to the generosity Dash!
